Hello Manasi,
The frequency of pregnancy check-ups that is antenatal visits depends on your health profile and any other associated risk factors with the pregnancy. In a non-high-risk pregnancy once a monthly visit till 7-8 months then fortnightly visits and weekly visits are required in the last month. If some risk factors are involved in your pregnancy your doctor may ask you to visit more frequently. Your diet should ideally involve a balanced diet with high protein and high iron content in it as the growing baby and your body demand more protein and pregnancy induced anemia may affect your health. Including dates, dry fruits, all the seasonal fruits except papaya, salads, and an adequate amount of water to keep your gut and kidneys free of infection is recommended. Avoid oily junk food and unhygienic food that is what I suggest. You should avoid caffeine, caffeinated cold drinks, plastics, processed food, and packed food.
